Music Supervisor, Saturday Music

Award-winning music supervisor Mary Ramos has helped create the musical identity for more than 100 films over the past 20 years. She has worked with many gifted directors to help tell their stories with music, including Oscar-winning Tom McCarthy (The Station Agent, The Visitor, The Cobbler and Win-Win), Oscar-winning Quentin Tarantino (Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, Grind House and his Grammy-nominated soundtracks Kill Bill Vol. 1, Kill Bill Vol. 2, Inglourious Basterds and Django Unchained), Robert Rodriguez on From Dusk Till Dawn and Allison Anders on Grace of My Heart, among many others.

2015 was a banner year for Mary. She worked again with Quentin Tarantino on The Hateful Eight and was very excited to team Quentin with his idol, composer Ennio Morricone, for an original score which received a Golden Globe, a BAFTA, a Critic's Choice Award and also garnered the maestro Morricone his first-ever Academy Award for Best Original Score. She also worked again with Tom McCarthy on his Academy Award-winning film Spotlight and paired him with composer Howard Shore, for a score that was nominated for a Critic's Choice Award.
